we build small rooms on the internet and pretend nobody can hear us breathing. there is a quiet comfort in coding a corner of the web that belongs only to you, far away from algorithmic feeds and endless notification dots.
when you record tape loops or save digital photos in quiet folders, you realize that memory isn't meant to be consumed instantly. it needs to settle like light dust on glass.
maybe that is why we keep coming back to static, cassette hiss, and raw HTML pages.
